ram·bling (pronounced ˈram-b(ə-)lin): amusingly digressive with satirical thrusts
That’s how the fine folks at thefreedictionary.com describe it, and we believe it accurately describes us.
We are the Music City Ramblers. A group of passionate folks, lead by the head rebel rouser Johnny T, who like to talk about the vast variety of entertainment that Nashville has to offer. We hope you enjoy yourself as we share our videos, blogs, reviews, musical & dining tastes, recaps and whatever other creative things we can dream up.
The following Ramblers are already here for (y)our entertainment pleasure:
: Johnny T : Ringleader & Head Rebel Rouser — Obsessed music fan — Ex-New Yawk Banking Dude & Ex-Nashville Radio & Digital Marketing Guy — Music City Unsigned & Harmony Republic Co-Founder — Ryman Ticket Taker — Marketing Guru — Amateur Life Coach & Advice Giver (Solicited or Unsolicited) — Licensed (but never bartended) Bartender — Professional Tawker.
: Tim : The man who can steal a woman’s heart and plant her trees all in the same afternoon (yes, he’s a tree guy by trade) — Taylor Swift enthusiast — Guitar playing wannabe — Burrito lover — the long-winded music buff who can keep a story going long after you’ve fallen asleep (we can vouch for that!) Follow Tim on Twitter.
: J.P. : The Outsider-Insider — Our “international correspondent” hailing from the fine city of Pittsburgh, PA — he may not be a Nashville resident, but he’s certainly a Nashville enthusiast, providing the visitor’s perspective. He is a resident graphic artist — often considers himself a pure utility man — spends most of his time trying to fuse his career with music — Professional Strategist — Devoted Hockey Fan — Music Tour Poster Collector — Rambler.
: Jason : Web Protagonist — Co-Troublemaker at Otterball – host of Art v. Inspiration — designer — marketing guru — soon-to-be-licensed bartender. Follow Jason on Twitter
: Jake : The resident rambling mascot. He may not say much but loves the camera and craves attention & a tasty pair of Converse sneakers. You can friend him here
: Tomkat : The other furry friend walking through our videos. He was born on the streets of East Nashville and was inherited at a Writer’s Round there. He sometimes thinks he’s a dog and can knock Jake out with a swift right hook of the paw.
And there are more Ramblers over yonder on the horizon.
